A Spaghetti Bowl.....
My Dad once told me that a mans mind has boxes and they never think out those boxes. A womens mind is like a bowl of spaghetti going everyway possible. I have come to belive this. Everyday my mind is going a million miles per minute. I can't just not think for a minute. It would be so nice. I am always thinking of things I should be doing, what I should of done, and I could of done something better.
So one of my other goals this year is to be a better housewife and a mother. Don't get me wrong. I try to do it. But i think since I had to clean my mom's house all the time I have been rebelling and I just dont like to do it. Brett, helps me alot but I know it's not his responsibility when he comes home to have to clean the house. So I decided to try to get it all done in the morning. I have been reading a book I found on a shelf called, "The Art of Homemaking". It was written in 1969 by and LDS author. It is an interesting book. But I like to read about organizing and making my house better. So I picked it up and started reading. Some of it I just laugh at. Other parts makes sense. So I am going to be writting a bit about it once in awhile. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
They describe a women to be like a diamond and she has many facets so she is a distinct individual. So by being all of these you will be valued and cherished.
Facet No 1
An ideal homemaker is lovely to look at and lovely to be around-she has a wholesome attitude and a pleasing appearance. She has the courage to be happy and strives to live above the grievous faults of moodiness, sulkiness, and complaining. She is gracious and thoughtful and is consequently adored by her family and admired by all who know her. This facet means true beauty in her diamond.
This totally describes me to a T..... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
So I have been trying to have a pleasing appearance and I will have to work on all attitude. I told Brett that don't be surprised if one day you come home and the house is sparkling clean and I greet him at the door in a skirt, highheels, and a apron on. oh and all done up just for him.
I think it would be funny.
So there you go... now you really know me. I am trying to be a 1960's homemaker.

That is hilarious! I will come over and help you, so you can greet Brett at the door. I think he might like it if you only had high heels and an apron on! Good luck and there is a reason I was not born in the 50's. I would have never got married!
