Well...... Let me think, JB got his chest tube out today, and the cathitor. He had to have his oxygen flow go up. His nose is so dry and plugged he is not getting enough air. He is being a trooper. I stayed here last night with him and we slept in until 11. In between our sleeping they wieghed him, he had chest x-rays, they took labs, and they gave him meds. Oh ya, and the Dr's came in and talked to us. I hate showering here. It reminds me of England the shower is drafty and cold. You can't move very much in the shower because if you move from the hot water you freeze. B, MK, and my mom came up. JB will do anything for his grandma. WHY???? I took MK for a wagon ride to make her happy and to have some time with her. Grandma had to leave that was a tradgedy in itself. We took JB in the wagon down to the cafeteria, we ate he just sat there. When we got back we tried to get the two of them to take a nap...Yeah Right. So I took MK home and B stayed with JB. MK and I had a good nap and had some dinner. We got back to the hospital around 6:30. Some of our neighbors came by to see JB their little boy brought him a chocolate dounut to share. It was very nice of them to show some support. While we were gone B took JB for a wagon ride and made him walk. He does not like walking he cries the whole entire time. I think we will make him do it again. He told my mom yesterday that he just wants to leave the hospital. He told us that he is done with this place. He makes me smile. I am so proud of him. He just gets thrown into this and just puts up with all of it.
Mk is doing well, I think. She was a little moody today but once we got some food in her she was ok. She wants to be right with JB. She rode in the Wagon with him, she wants to sit on his bed with him and she pats him on the leg to make sure he is ok. Oh ya, she is sharing with him all the time now. I think she really likes him and misses him. We are now just watching TV, MK is playing, B is doing homework. So I guess I will go so that I can give the kids some attention.
