So I am not typing this for sympathy or anything like that. I just needed to express my feelings tonight and I am not good at keeping a journal..... SO here it goes.
So, growing up birthdays were big in our family. It was almost a second christmas. Hey why not it's a day to celebrate you. and if you know me I am a,"All About Me." kind of a gal. I mean hey, we would wake up and open presents, have our favorite dinner, and have grandparents over for cake and ice cream that night. Usually there was always a birthday party with all your friends. I know this can't last forever and it didn't. As I got older the parties stopped. But, I still had cake and ice cream with the family. So since I moved away from home I tried to celebrate it one way or another.
Don't get me wrong Brett is good at times. He at least remebered to tell me happy birthday this morning before he left. But as my day went on I was getting lonely. The soup and salad lunch at Becky's was GREAT!!!! I loved it. I then got to watch a movie by myself which was well deserved. Around 4:00pm there was a knock. I was thinking oh yeah he sent me something or thought it might be a friend. NOPE!!!!!! It was the UPS guy with His new X-BOX...... hAPPY Birthday to me. right? He came home and I said hey happy bday to you. I ended up crying. becasue he wouldn't be home and showed up empty handed. he could of came home with some flowers or a pepsi or something. you don't walk through the door empty handed. He hasnt even bought me anything. well, he did have the weekend and monday night. but I guess he didn't think so.
So this is to all the guys out there don't come home empty handed on your wifes bday, anniversary, or mothers day....
WOW I am mean... sorry about the bad attitude I was just so mad.
