Being A MOM

I would just like to say that I love being a Mom. I am sure all of you enjoy being a mom. So, I may not be a mom like you. But, I do things my way and that is how I like doing them. I love holding my little MK and rocking her to sleep. I love laying by both of my kids at night. I love watching them sleep. Wondering what they are dreaming. I love just sitting with them on the couch and singing songs, reading stories, or just watching a movie. One on each side snuggled so close. We just started a bedtime routine but I do miss rocking them. They are growing so fast that I don't want them to. I enjoy taking them shopping with me. We use to go out late at night and not be home until after 10. But I have learned that kids need a routine. I love hearing about JB's adventures, and his hopes and dreams. I love laying by him at night and putting my hand on his heart just to make sure it is beating. I find myself not able to fall asleep some nights because my MK is not right next to me. I love hearing the words Mam, Mommy, Mom. I know that I am needed. I love watching them play with their dad. The most important thing they need since he is not around very often. I may not do things as others do but I love the way I do things and the way I love my kids. I hate explaining to people why my kids are rocked, or the way I do things. Sometimes I feel like I am being judged. But I am who I am and my kids are who they are. And together we make a good team.
