A Great Way to Start the New Year

JA was blessed by her daddy on Sunday, January 2, 2011. What a great way to start the new year. She was so good during the blessing that you wouldn't of known that she was awake. Bishop leaned over to Brett after and said he had never seen such a well behaved baby. Brett did an awesome job on the blessing. I am so greatful for him and that he is worthy to hold the priesthood. They funny thing is that she was very calm and just a happy baby after. Brett, is such a cute dad he took her in his arms and just held her the whole entire meeting. I can totally tell he loves his kids. During testimony meeting I had an experience that I haven't had for awhile. I felt the spirit. It was almost pushing me out of my seat to go bare my testimony. I didn't want to because if I don't have it written down I get all flabergasted and can't think. I asked Brett if he was going to go up? He said that it is the moms job to share her testimony after a baby blessing. So after about 30 mins ignoring everything I got up. But, not after hearing an amazing testimony from my father-in-law. It was a great meeting and was glad to share everything with our families.
After we had a luncheon at our house. Yep, our house. If you saw where we lived or you have lived where we live you are probably wondering how? But we did it. 30 people in our tiny apartment. We survived and nobody complained. I enjoyed being surrounded by our family. They are amazing. they helped out so much. Here are a few pics of the day.
