The thing that "BUGS" me the most......

So we are approaching our third year of living here at the good old Village. I can't believe it. The sad thing is that we will be leaving this summer. I will miss the friends, the social life, and the ability to be able to rely on your neighbors to help you out in your desperate times. Oh and that we spend all day everyday in summer outside.

What I will not miss well, the darkness of our apartments, the cinder block, the smells, the colds, the sickness, no room, the mold, the water dripping down the walls, and MOST OF ALL I WILL NOT MISS.........

Yes, that is a picture of an ANT!!!! Every year since we moved into our three bedroom these little guys have decided to BUG me. They come out when it starts getting warm. So it started warming up last week and they have found there way into my kitchen. I deal with them for at least 3 months. I do everything to get rid of them but obviously they are still around. Where are they coming from. I don't know. A friend of mine suggested that they are probably in the walls. You are probably wondering why I am going crazy. I don't know. I just hate them. They make me feel dirty, they make me feel like my house is just disgusting. So I go on a cleaning rampage. I scrub, I clean and then I put out everything I can think of that is safe that will kill them.
I think it comes from my Grandma. She use to do the Ant dance. She would step on them outside and it looked like a little dance.(wow I miss her.)
I am lucky that they haven't made their way to my food. They just hang around the window. That is where they are coming from. They aren't sugar ants or piss ants. (like we use to call them.) They are big and black. So I start going crazy. Brett laughs at me because, I check the floor, window and wall when we come home. I am constantly smashing them. Anything that looks black or moving I try to smash it.
I guess it wouldn't BUG me so bad. But, in our first apartment we had a nest of flying red ants. Our landlord wouldn't believe me. I would find them in my bathroom, down the hall and in our bedroom. I tore my bedroom apart and found the nest and killed them. I guess I just have a fetish with them and every time I see them I just want to kill them. So, if you see me outside doing a funny looking dance you will know why.

Oh! THATS what you were doing! That explains it all!
There are definitely pros and cons to living here! But we'll miss it when we leave!

You should really call maintenance now, they may be able to do something before they get any worse.
